Hello, I'm Jan, and I am currently a R&D Engineer at Synopsys working on PrimeTime.
Previously, I co-founded a computing startup and served as Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University in the research group of Prof. Supriyo Datta. My Ph.D. thesis, titled Probabilistic Computing: From Devices to Systems, explores the development of a novel computer at the intersection of physics and artificial intelligence.
In the past, I have worked on nanomagnets at IBM and conducted research on plasma physics and nanoscale transport at Ruhr-University Bochum.
