About

Hello, I'm Jan — currently an R&D Engineer at Synopsys working on PrimeTime. Previously, I co-founded a computing startup and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University in the research group of Prof. Supriyo Datta. My Ph.D. thesis, Probabilistic Computing: From Devices to Systems, explores the development of a novel computer at the intersection of physics and artificial intelligence.

In the past, I have worked on nanomagnets at IBM and conducted research on plasma physics and nanoscale transport at Ruhr-University Bochum. In my free time, I like running and play handball for Calheat.
